One major question before, during and after your studies is where to go professionally. The Hertie School Career Services office helps students to find needed contacts and prepares them for their professional futures by serving as a platform where internship institutions, employers, students and alumni can meet and exchange their profiles and contact details.
The services provided are meant to address students of all programmes of the Hertie School of Governance. Individual coaching sessions and supporting students as well as alumni in their professional development are the cornerstones of the services provided.
In the search for internships or permanent positions, we provide students with support throughout the process via coaching and development opportunities. We also offer one-to-one guidance, CV workshops, and other related workshops.
We assist students in building and maintaining a network of contacts during and after studies. We rely on in-house contacts as well as contacts that students share with us. We draw on this broad and continually growing database of contacts, so that students enrolled in the MPP programme can greatly benefit from their mandatory internship during the summer break, which will facilitate obtaining a permanent position after the end of their studies.
We are constantly expanding our network of partners in the public, private and civil society sectors. If you are an employer or are looking to offer an internship to a Hertie School student, we would gladly facilitate the process.
