Dean's Welcome
On behalf of the faculty of the Hertie School of Governance, it is my great pleasure to present our Master of Public Policy Students. These students are eager to explore employment options in government, business and civil society.
The Master of Public Policy programme prepares students for future leadership positions through analytically-challenging and practice-oriented courses in the areas of governance, policy analysis, management, and leadership.
The School’s greatest asset is indeed the quality of our students. The student body is diverse in terms of national background, disciplines and interests. What unites them is that they are among the best educated, most skilled and dedicated. Excellence and diversity is what makes the Hertie School graduates stand out.
Past graduates have gone on to work in positions ranging from government ministries and private companies, to international organizations and philanthropic foundations. Some have even founded their own organizations.
As you know, the School and has quickly become a recognized centre of excellence in educating tomorrow's leaders in a professional, research-intensive environment.
