Graduates of the Master of Public Policy and Executive Master of Public Management programmes and former participants in Executive Education seminars together constitute the Alumni Network of the Hertie School of Governance. The network is growing rapidly and is quickly becoming one of the most important parts of the Hertie School of Governance community.

The Hertie School of Governance supports the Alumni Network and the work of the Alumni Council through its own Alumni Relations division. Alumni are encouraged to stay in touch with the school and to provide important feedback.

• A first alumni survey was conducted in Spring 2008. Comprehensive surveys to find out more about the current situation of MPP graduates are being held in a yearly rhythm.
• Alumni are actively encouraged to participate in events advertising the school to prospective students.
• Hertie Connect - a web portal - has been implemented in September 2008 to improve communication between alumni and the rest of the Hertie School of Governance community.
