Friedrichstr. 180
Room 2.32
This colloquium is an effort to bring together a group of people from in and around Berlin who share an interest in broader reflections on law beyond the state. We plan to meet around four times per semester in an informal setting to discuss a text we have all read, sometimes with an outside invited speaker. The text will be briefly introduced (and critiqued) by a commentator, but most of the time at the sessions will be reserved for discussion. The main aim of the colloquium is to stimulate thinking and exchange, and after our sessions we hope to continue both over dinner.
We do not have a strict language policy. As long as all participants understand both languages, contributions can be in German or English.
Everybody who is interested in the colloquium should write to Ines André-Schulze (andre-schulze@hertie-school.org) to be included in our mailing list. All welcome!
