Applying for the EMPM

In educating leaders in public management, the Hertie School of Governance seeks managers and consultants from government, business and the Non-profit-sector as well as professionals seeking a change of career.

Applicants for the Executive Master of Public Management programme must meet the following requirements:

• Higher education degree 
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of English

Passive knowledge of German is an asset but not a precondition for admission.

The EMPM programme starts every year in September.

Applications for the next EMPM Class starting in September 2012, are possible via the EMPM online application module.

• until 15 March 2012 (1st deadline, relevant also for applicants who apply for a scholarship).
• or 15 May 2012 (2nd deadline).

In case of equal qualification the available places are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
