Scholarships
A number of scholarships (full/partial tuition waivers) is available:
- Officials from the German Public Administration (Bund, Länder-, Kommunalebene) can apply for the EMPM Behörden Spiegel Scholarship.
- German officials working in international organisations or European institutions and who are registered with CommIO can apply for the EMPM CommIO Scholarship.
- Professionals working in the European context can apply for the EMPM European Scholarship.
- Members of the NISPAcee network can apply for the EMPM NISPAcee Scholarship.
- Moreover, especially qualified candidates may apply for a Hertie School Scholarship (full/partial tuition waiver).
The funds will be granted with a view to the quality of the application, his/her contribution to the diversity of the student body as well as the financial need of the applicant.
In view of the limited number of scholarships, candidates should seek alternative sources (external scholarships or loans) early. Tax advisors should also be consulted for more information about tax-deduction of professional training expenses.
Applications for scholarships must be submitted by 15 March 2012. After this deadline, candidates can still apply to the EMPM programme until 15 May 2012, but not for a scholarship. Apply Now
