Politics of Reform in International Institutions

The course introduces students to the management challenges faced by international organisations in the changing global governance environment. It focuses on the United Nations and its interactions with business and civil society actors.

The course makes significant use of case study teaching, zooming in on a number of cases ranging from peacekeeping to finance & development.

Requirements

  • Higher education degree
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience
  • Good knowledge of English

Workload

  • 2.5 days in Berlin, as well as additional time for the preparation of the seminar
  • No follow-up assignment is required
