Strategic Management

1 - 3 July 2013

Public sector organisations have to anticipate and respond to substantial challenges, such as long-term economic and financial instability, as well as demographic change or the drive for ecological sustainability. Equally important are the ongoing and increasing demands by citizens in their involvement as voters, taxpayers or clients regarding transparency, coherence and accessibility of public institutions and especially their capability to deliver high-quality goods and services.

The main goal of the course is to deliver a profound conceptual as well as instrumental and practical understanding of strategic management within a political and administrative context. Participants will discuss their own experiences and look at best practices.
