Just launched: New episode of TV series Understanding Democracy with Andrea Römmele

In a new episode of ARD Alpha series Demokratie verstehen (Understanding Democracy), Hertie School Dean of Executive Education Andrea Römmele discusses yet another challenge of democracy in our times. The episode launched last week online and this week on TV. The latest instalment focusses on ways to engage young people in politics and to counter the presumed trend of political apathy. 

Among the guests and experts Römmele hosts is Philip Husemann from joinpolitics, an organisation that scouts for young political talents. One person the initiative spotted is Kerry Hoppe, who Römmele also interviews about her work for the liberal Free Democratic Party.
