Berlin, 8 February 2012 – Over 50 Hertie School students were among a group of young leaders who discussed Europe’s future with German Chancellor, Dr. Angela Merkel, last night in the Neues Museum in Berlin. Merkel kicked the evening off with a brief speech on the future of Europe after which the floor was opened for a discussion moderated by Financial Times’ Quentin Peel.

Merkel engaged with the dynamic audience’s questions and perspectives on European integration and mapping the course for Europe’s future. The event was hosted by the BELA Foundation.

A warm thank you to Barbara-Maria Monheim and the BELA Foundation for extending an invitation to Hertie School students to attend the discussion with Chancellor Merkel.
