Anna Lena Hohmann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. She studied public policy at the Hertie School of Governance, focusing on European governance, strategic management, security and defence policies as well as foreign affairs. During her Professional Year, she worked as the assistant to the Parliamentary State Secretary in the German Federal Ministry of Defence. Her professional experience further includes internships at the United Nations, the German Federal Press Office and the governmental relations company EUTOP. Since 2016, Anna Lena has been Chair of the Alumni Council of the Allianz Cultural Foundation. Moreover, she volunteers at the German Council of Foreign Relations (DGAP) and the German Atlantic Association.
