Bruce Barnaby holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and is a master’s candidate in human rights from the same university. He studied public policy at the Hertie School, specialising in policy analysis. He worked for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GiZ) in Lima, the ombusdman office and the Peruvian government, inter alia. He has several years of experience in management, and in monitoring and implementing projects and national policies related to democracy, social conflict and human rights. Furthermore, he has expertise in research and teaching in international law and human rights, and in fostering participatory processes with civil society and grassroots organizations.
