Maria Mildner holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in North American Studies, with a focus on Political Science and Sociology, which she obtained at the John-F.-Kennedy Institute at the Freie Universität Berlin. During her undergraduate studies, Maria was granted a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to pursue an exchange year at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Freie Universität Berlin, the Harding Center for Risk Literacy at the University of Potsdam, as well as the Max-Planck-Institute for Human Development in Berlin. Maria is fluent in German and English and has a basic knowledge of French.
