Confusions in organisational judgment

Lecture and discussion with Xiangyang Xin, Professor at the School of Design, Jiangnan University

Xiangyang Xin's lecture will share personal observations of the difficulties of decision making in organisations, and trying to understand it from a perspective of design. Case studies on both the product level and macro level will be discussed in order to look for common patterns of how and why confusion may happen. Finally, Xiangyang Xin will share an ongoing project of re-forestation of the desert in China and elsewhere, and how this project represents an exploration of new forms of organisations.

A light breakfast will be served.
