The Master of Public Policy graduate shares his path from Mexico City to Berlin, building a career in Germany and tips for having a great time in the city.
After working in consulting for the Mexican federal government on climate and energy policy, José Jasso moved to Berlin to pursue a Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School. After graduating in 2019, José continued to build a career in Germany and went on to become the Chief Operating Officer of Berlin-based e-mobility consulting firm M3E. At the 2021 Alumni Reunion, we asked José about his experience studying at the Hertie School, his favourite courses, plus his tips for making the most of Berlin – including biking around the city, visiting museums, going boating on Berlin's lakes and rivers.
