Apply by 1 February as a priority candidate!

There’s still time to apply for the MPP, MIA, MDS and several full scholarships ahead of our first deadline.

1 February is our priority deadline for Master of Public Policy, Master of International Affairs and Master of Data Science for Public Policy applicants planning to join the next cohort in fall 2022.

While we still accept applications until our final deadline on 1 May, we encourage you to apply earlier for a number of reasons. First, the largest portion of financial aid is allocated to priority applicants. Second, applying earlier means receiving your admission (and financial aid) decisions earlier. This could be particularly relevant if you need to apply for an entry visa and/or start organising your relocation to Germany. Moving to another city, let alone another country, can require some planning in advance, so give yourself enough time and apply early!

Full scholarships with a 1 February deadline

The following full scholarships have a deadline of 1 February and require additional application materials, usually an essay. You may only apply for one full scholarship per programme, per application cycle.

Applicants for the Prospect Burma Scholarship must apply by 31 January. In addition to a standard MPP, MIA or MDS application, you must also submit an application on Prospect Burma’s website by 31 January 2022 to be considered for a full tuition waiver and living cost grant.

Extra tips for your application

  • It’s okay if reference letters arrive shortly after 1 February – you’ll still be considered for the priority deadline if you submit the application form in the online portal by then. However, we’ll need your reference letters before we can start evaluating your application. So the sooner we have them, the sooner you’ll get a decision.

  • Proof of English proficiency can be submitted after the priority deadline, by 1 June 2022.

  • Check out our application tips for your CV, letter of motivation, diplomas and transcripts, letters of reference and the English requirement if you have any doubts.
