Introducing the Hertie School admissions blog

Follow us for a closer look at the admissions process, student life and more.

Why this blog?

We get a lot of questions from prospective students about different aspects of the admissions process at the Hertie School. What do we look for in a letter of motivation? What is the ideal Hertie School candidate? Should you choose the MPP or MIA? How flexible is the Executive MPA for working professionals?

While you’ll  find a lot of concrete information on our admissions and our FAQ pages, this blog aims to give you a more personal view into the process.

In these fast-changing times of lockdown, remote work, online learning and social distancing, we want to stay connected to our community and to our prospective students. And we want to make sure you can easily find out about the latest developments – all in one place, right here on the admissions blog.

We’ll regularly post content especially relevant for admissions, including tips for your application, deadline reminders, our online events for prospective students, coronavirus-related admissions updates, and much more. Stay tuned!
