Local CSO Programme
We are recruiting 20 representatives of small local/regional civic organisations or grassroot movements from across Georgia to participate in our annual 10-day training course, consisting of two 5-day workshops.
Participants commit to actively participating in both of the two 5-day workshops. They also commit to bringing lessons and insights from the work of their organisations into the trainings for practical exchange.
Access to financial support
Additionally, CSOs and grassroot movements whose representatives or staff take part in the training programme will have the option to apply to financial support via a sub-granting scheme in the framework of this project. The sub-granting scheme will particularly encourage projects inspired by the interactions and new knowledge acquired during the training and that aim to monitor, report and advocate for Georgia’s human rights commitments and the implementation of human rights-related strategies.
With generous support from the European Union, costs associated with participating in the programme will be covered, including accommodation, transportation, breakfast and lunch catering, as well as one welcome dinner.
