Alexander Sorg specialised in climate and security policy at the Hertie School and his master’s thesis empirically analysed the link between climate change and increased terrorist activity. Alexander’s professional experience lies in the fields of foreign and security policy. He organised two consecutive forums for the Institute for European Politics (IEP) on German-Nordic-Baltic cooperation and coordinated the German G20 campaign for the international NGO, ONE, in 2017. At the moment he works as a project assistant in climate diplomacy for the policy consultancy adelphi. Alexander volunteers with ONE, is active in the climate and energy division of the Polis180 think tank and helped organise the student-led European Public Policy Conference in 2017 in Prague. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from Maastricht University.
