Fabian Hafner holds a dual degree with Sciences Po, where he specialised in quantitative policy analysis with a focus on energy and sustainability. Prior to his time at the Hertie School, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. His work experience ranges from internships at the German Foreign Service to social sector consulting (Ashoka) as well as research positions in the field of climate change and energy at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC). Fabian holds scholarships awarded by Cusanuswerk as well as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
