Francesco Cusimano holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and History from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. At the Hertie School, he joined the MIA programme, where he focused on security studies and quantitative methods. Francesco is a Student Representative for the MIA class of 2018 and is the head of the International Relations Club at the Hertie School. Over the course of his studies, he completed internships in management consultancy at Monitor Deloitte and at the United Nations Department of Field Support in New York. His interests are in cyber security and the impact of the environment on human security. Following his graduation, Francesco is expected to join North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum for a work placement.
