Gaia Falqui is completing her Dual Degree with Bocconi University and is passionate about international relations, international economics, human rights law, migration and climate policy. She has lived in Italy, the United States, Peru, Spain and Germany and holds a Bachelor in International Economics Management and Finance from Bocconi University. During her undergraduate degree she went on an exchange to Peru, which exposed her to the challenges of policymaking in a developing country. One of Gaia’s particular areas of interest is the European Union and cohesion policy in light of the financial crisis. Her dual degree is expanding her analytical and managerial skills as well as her knowledge of international policymaking. Gaia has also worked as an intern at the Italian Consulate in Barcelona and, while at Bocconi, on in-depth research projects and publications.
