Jon Vrushi holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Edinburgh, with a specialisation in contemporary and political history. During his two years at the Hertie School Jon immersed himself in quantitative methods and policy analysis, gaining statistical and programming skills. Previously, Jon worked at the UNICEF Innovations Lab in Kosovo, the Albanian Mission to the European Union in Brussels and as a research associate at the Hertie School. His main academic interests include anti-corruption policies, good governance and the role of civil society and citizen engagement in the policy process. He is currently a research officer at the Transparency International Secretariat in Berlin and is working on the Corruption Perceptions Index as well as open data for anti-corruption.
