Jose Campos earned an MPP at the Hertie School where he specialised in climate economics and governance, policy analysis and quantitative methods. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey where he participated in its international track, completing semesters in Germany, Canada and Denmark. He was Senior Investment Analyst for Stella Maris Partners, a venture capital fund with operations in Latam, USA and Europe. He worked in business development for Rocket Internet and as a financial planner for Old Mutual plc. He is particularly interested in the intersection between climate policy and finance, which led him to pursue an internship at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Jose also received a joint scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT).
