Kelly Acuña holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Economics from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. She studied public policy at the Hertie School, focusing on social policy, economics and policy analysis. Her professional experience spans working as a policy advisor in the area of water services for the National Planning Department (DNP) in Colombia and for the Colombian Utilities Commission; conducting research at the Research Centre for Economic Development in Colombia and in the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin, where she analysed hedge fund investors’ and managers’ behaviour with STATA software; and teaching at Universidad de los Andes and the Hertie School.
