Kris Best is an MPP candidate at the Hertie School and a researcher in EU policy evaluation at Civic Consulting in Berlin, where she contributes to evaluations, economic studies, and other research projects, with an emphasis on data collection, and economic and econometric/statistical analysis. Kris is originally from Vancouver, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Victoria and a Certificate of Studies in Social Sciences and Humanities from Sciences Po, Paris. Previously, she worked as an analyst in fiscal policy in the Canadian government and in financial regulation policy in the British Columbia Ministry of Finance. Her academic interests lie primarily in EU integration, particularly in the area of economic and fiscal policy.
