Leonore Merck holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Literature from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. She gained professional experience working at the German Historical Institute in London and the Deutschlandstiftung Integration in Berlin before starting her Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School. Leonore is specialising in international politics at the Hertie School. She also gained experience during her Professional Year while interning at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the German Ministry of Defence, the German Bundestag and the consulting company Accenture. Moreover, Leonore gained further insight into the German political sector as a working student for a Member of Parliament at the German Bundestag. In addition to her studies, Leonore is currently working for a start-up in the health sector.
