Louisa Plasberg is a dual degree student with Columbia University specialising in social policy as well as in technology and communications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Mannheim and spent her undergraduate semester abroad at Harvard University. Her professional experience ranges from working for a public affairs consultancy to supporting the Business 20 (B20), the official economic dialogue of the German G20 Presidency. Louisa has worked on labour and social policy as a trainee at the Council of the European Union, as well as for a member of the German Parliament and at the Ministry of Labour, Integration and Social Affairs in North-Rhine Westphalia. She has volunteered in a mentoring programme for refugees in Germany as well as in an elementary school in New York City.
