Marc Becker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Philipps-Universität Marburg, with a semester abroad at the University of Helsinki. At the Hertie School and during a semester at Georgetown University, he studied international affairs, concentrating on security policy. Marc is particularly interested in the intersection of new technologies and policymaking, for example in space and cyber domains. During his Professional Year at the German Federal Ministry of Defence, he worked on Germany’s space security and defence policy. Marc also completed internships with the German Federal Foreign Office, the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), and the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi), where he focused on cybersecurity issues.
