Napoleon von Sanden is a political scientist from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with over two years’ experience in media and political communication, having worked in four different continents (in countries including Peru, Qatar, Cyprus, Egypt and Germany). While studying in Argentina, he worked at La Usina, a civil association focused on fostering the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labour market, and managed projects aimed at creating links to policymakers to promote change through labour market regulation. At the Hertie School he continued his studies with the MPP, specialising in public management. His master thesis maps the social entrepreneurship sector in Germany and develops a practical typology for policymakers to help them improve regulation through targeted strategies. Since May 2017 he has been working as an advisor at the TUI AG Corporate Office in Berlin.
