Nathan Appleman has focused on energy policy and economics at the Hertie School, especially on energy transition strategies. He was Executive Editor at the Governance Post for nearly two years, during which time he helped produce article series, podcasts, and interviewed several high profile public figures. Prior to joining the Hertie School, Nathan completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Politics at King’s College London. He has interned in several organisations, including the French Senate and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin). Nathan has also worked as a research assistant at International Energy Transition GmbH (IET) and as a consultant for the World Future Council and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung.
