Nikolas Reschen holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he focused on econometric methods and labour market economics. He served as the Head of Communication of the Humboldt-Forum Wirtschaft, a student organisation hosting an annual symposium with speakers from the fields of politics, academia and society. During his MPP at the Hertie School and an exchange to the University of Texas at Austin, he specialised in quantitative methods for policy analysis and education policy. He gained practical experience working at the AUTO1 Group, one of the fastest growing start-ups in Europe, and worked at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research for two years, where he served as a student assistant to the Parliamentary State Secretary. He also completed an internship at the Department for Statistics and International Comparative Analyses.
