Pavel Bobek holds a Master of Arts in German and Austrian Studies and a Bachelor of Political Science and International Area Studies from the Charles University in Prague. He studied the one-year Executive Master of Public Administration at the Hertie School, focusing on intersectoral management. Previously, he worked at the Goethe-Institut as the Head of Jugend debattiert international, a German-speaking competition and curriculum for secondary students in Central and Eastern Europe. He has also been very involved in pro bono work in the Czech-German youth exchange. Pavel is particularly passionate about youth engagement and civic education and building societies that are democratic, pluralist, fair, integrated and resilient. Aside from that, his personal interests include urban planning and sustainable transport.
