Sophia Pogrzeba holds a Bachelor of Science in European Public Administration from the University of Twente in the Netherlands. She studied public policy at the Hertie School, specialising in policy analysis and quantitative research methods. In a semester abroad at Duke University, Sophia focused on international development. She gained experience in trade-related and inclusive economic development in internships at the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GiZ) in Nepal. She also completed internships at the research department of the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the Institute for European Politics, and the Europe Directorate-General of the Federal Foreign Office.
