Thore Hagemann is a graduate of the Liberal Arts and Sciences Program at University College Maastricht (UCM) and a member of the Master of Public Policy Class of 2018 at the Hertie School. He is interested in questions pertaining to both migration and social policy. Thore has worked as a trainer for education in sustainable development and has had previous experience working with NGOs and think tanks in the field of migration. In addition to his studies at the Hertie School, Thore was a programme coordinator for migration at the Berlin-based European- and foreign-policy think tank Polis180. His master’s thesis empirically explores the intersection of social policy and migration topics in the context of increasing populist mobilization in Germany.
