Vaishali Venkatesh Prasad holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. She studied public policy at the Hertie School, with a specialisation in policy analysis, demography and social policy. During her studies at the Hertie School, she worked as a research assistant at the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in the areas of social psychology and data analysis. Her key areas of interest lie in the application of quantitative skills to answer questions on individual and social behaviour. Vaishali is also a recipient of the Public Policy and Good Governance scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and enjoys reading, travelling and strength training.
