Andrea García Borja holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. At the Hertie School, Andrea studied public policy, concentrating in management and organisation and focusing on international migration. While at the Hertie School, she helped organise the “Cracking the ceiling” conference, which examined policymaking in the era of intersectionality. Her professional experience includes a Professional Year with the German development agency (GIZ), working as a Project Assistant for the Better Migration Management Programme. Before coming to the Hertie School, Andrea worked in different civil society organisations in Mexico. She has worked and studied in Mexico, Belgium, India, Kenya and Germany.
