Anna-Lena Hosenfeld is pursuing a dual degree with Columbia University and has concentrated in international finance and economic policy, with a specialisation in management. Her academic focus is on transatlantic relations and international trade. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Management and Economics from Zeppelin University and spent an exchange semester at Copenhagen Business School. Anna-Lena is particularly interested in the intersection between economics and politics. Her professional experience spans the private, the public and non-profit sectors, having worked in management at a medium-sized family business, in public sector consulting, as well as with the Federation of German Industries, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the German Bundestag and at Atlantik-Brücke.
