Bianca Neumaier holds a Bachelor of Science in General Management from EBS Business School, during which she spent one semester at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in the US. During a gap year, she volunteered at the NGO Cambodia Indigenous Peoples Organization (CIPO) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. At the Hertie School, Bianca focused on security policy and sustainability. She completed student assistant positions in government affairs with AbbVie and in public-sector consulting with Roland Berger. She also completed an internship with the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. Bianca is passionate about gender equality and co-chaired the 2018 Cracking the Ceiling conference. She is combining her interests in gender issues and security policy through her master’s thesis, in which she argues for gender mainstreaming contracts with private military and security contractors.
