Camilla Lovrek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Vienna and spent a year abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During her studies, she completed internships at Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Grameen Bank. During her Master of Public Policy, she took a leave of absence to work on a project for migration and development at the German development agency GIZ in Berlin. At the Hertie School she focused on topics related to public management, European migration and refugee policies, democracy and populism.
