Carlos Ahumada has over seven years’ professional experience working in public affairs, media and in a political advisory capacity. While working for the President of the Mexican Senate, Carlos advised him on constitutional reform projects regarding health and national security. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant developing strategies for multinational companies with operations in Mexico on political and economic matters. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Diploma in International Politics from the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE). In his master’s degree at the Hertie School, Carlos specialised in policy evaluation, quantitative methods and data analysis. He also joined Polyteia, a Berlin-based company in the GovTech field, as a part-time data scientist.
