Jens Anderer holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and Economics from Erfurt University and Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. He has a background in policy and economic research and has focused on international relations and the political economy, environmental and labour market policy as well as on the cyber, platform, knowledge and sharing economies. Jens has worked for several institutions at home and abroad. He has experience in research, with trade unions, stock exchanges and with consultancies. He has worked in Argentina, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Pakistan, the US and Europe. At the Hertie School, he acquired hands-on skills in the areas of policy, economic analysis and data science. Jens is particularly interested in the socio-economic impact and use of emerging technologies. While studying at the Hertie School, he also gained work experience in the Berlin start-up sector.
