Joachim Sprenger holds a University Diploma in Informatics from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. At the Hertie School, he studied the Executive MPA with a concentration in digital transformation, social innovation and is interested in the intersection between international economics and climate action. Joachim is Department Manager in IT Product Quality Management at the European Parliament, where he has had more than 15 years’ experience in IT management. Before this, he worked as a Head of IT Development in an international bank in Luxembourg and as Head of IT at Kuagtextil GmbH, an industrial manufacturer for AkzoNobel in Germany. He is also a member of the German Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) and promotes EU staff recruitment with the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) on the communications platform CommIO.
