Jurij Delauré holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from the University of Vienna. At the Hertie School, he focused on public management and organisation and is particularly interested in cross-sector collaboration. He is also interested in economic policy, development cooperation and foreign affairs. Jurij is currently working for the German Federal Ministry of Defense where he coordinates the ministry’s contributions to the government-led initiative Year of German-American Friendship. Before that, he completed a Professional Year in the same ministry as a policy officer for transatlantic relations and German-US bilateral security policy. In addition, Jurij gained professional experience in the field of development cooperation and foreign affairs in Central Africa and Latin America.
