Manuel Clemens holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Münster. At the Hertie School and during an exchange semester at the University of California Los Angeles, he studied public policy with a focus on quantitative data analysis and social policy. Manuel completed a Professional Year at the German Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, where he worked on the improvement of working conditions in the care economy. Prior to his graduate studies, he interned at a consultancy for diversity management and worked as a research and teaching assistant on German politics and quantitative methods at the University of Münster. Manuel is especially interested in how governments can benefit from data-informed and evidence-based policymaking.
