Moritz Hemmerlein is a generalist with a strong background in quantitative methods, social policy and economics. Prior to his Master of Public Policy, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics at the University of Bayreuth and did exchange semesters at Marmara University in Istanbul and the University of Texas at Austin in the US. Throughout his studies he focused on linking theoretical research and practical decision-making. Having developed cutting-edge skills in data-analytics, Moritz interned at the ifo Leibniz Institute for Economic Research and later assumed positions in digitisation and media research. He also completed a Professional Year at Accenture Strategy where he was involved with IT transformation and organisational change. Moritz aims to become part of innovative projects that help to make the public sector work better.
