Pedro Pablo Errázuriz has specialised in trade policy and international economic affairs. After an internship at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chile, where he was part of the team of delegates to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC). In this position he assisted Chile's senior officials, including the president and the minister of foreign affairs. Before joining the Hertie School, he helped set up the first department focusing on gender at the ministry and took part in the first negotiations on the gender and trade chapters in Chile's free trade agreements. He also advised Chile's private sector representatives at the APEC Business Advisory Council as Lead Staffer for two years. Pedro Pablo also holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Chile.
