Pernilla Söderberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Stockholm University. At the Hertie School, she joined the MIA programme, focusing on security and sustainability. While completing her studies, she published several articles in the student magazine The Governance Post, competed on behalf of the Hertie School at the 2018 Global Public Policy Network conference, and participated in the Hertie School mentoring programme, being mentored by the Director-General of the German Federal Foreign Office. She completed her summer internship at the Crisis Response Unit of the United Nations Development Programme in New York. Prior to joining the Hertie School, Pernilla has interned at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and worked for a Swedish state-owned early-stage investment company.
