Susanne Bellers focused on different aspects of political science in her studies, which provided her with a sound understanding of international economics and statistics. Her internships at the German Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Palestine and the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia increased her analytical and organisational skills and expanded her practical knowledge of international cooperation and political institutions. Her academic and professional backgrounds have prepared her for positions in programme management and event coordination in political institutions as well as in the fields of international development cooperation, transatlantic security relations and diplomacy. She has comprehensive knowledge of the German political system, conflict management and sources in the Middle East, as well as of US-European relations.
