Timon Lepold holds a Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Passau, where he focussed on international relations. He studied international affairs at the Hertie School, specialising in security, sustainability and international law. He was a member of the Hertie School’s team for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition that won the German championship and represented Germany at the international rounds in Washington DC. His professional experience includes a Professional Year at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), an internship at the Embassy of Germany in Brazil and a project assistant position at the think tank adelphi. Following his graduation, Timon will return to the BMU as a policy officer.
